Our company has successfully completed the delivery of two wheel loaders to the Republic of Vanuatu under Japan’s Grant Aid for the “Economic and Social Development Programme (Equipment for the Recovery from Earthquake Disaster).”

This programme was implemented as part of Japan’s support for recovery and reconstruction following the major earthquake that struck Vanuatu on December 17, 2024. Debris removal, water supply, and other recovery needs remain key challenges in the affected areas, and the programme aims to strengthen the country’s disaster recovery capacity through the provision of essential equipment.

Under this project, our company supplied two Hitachi Construction Machinery ZW180-5A wheel loaders. The wheel loaders are expected to be used for a wide range of recovery work, including loading debris and soil, clearing affected sites, and supporting the restoration of roads and public infrastructure.

The introduction of this equipment is expected not only to accelerate ongoing earthquake recovery work, but also to enhance Vanuatu’s initial response and recovery capabilities in the event of future disasters.

We will continue to contribute to disaster recovery and the development of social infrastructure in countries around the world through international cooperation projects.
