History
July 2009 — Company Established
The company was founded in July 2009. In its early years, it developed a diverse range of businesses including planning, production, and sales in the music and video industries, as well as planning, manufacturing, and sales of food products and the operation of restaurants.
August-September 2019 — Transition to International Trade
In August 2019, the company increased its capital, changed its corporate name to Mizuho Corporation, and revised its Articles of Incorporation to transition its core business to international trade.
Along with this transition, the head office was relocated from Shibuya, Tokyo to Horidome-cho,Nihonbashi,Chuo-ku,Tokyo, and the change was officially registered on September 19 of the same year.
2019 — Entry into ODA Projects
Following the business transition in 2019, under the leadership of former President Tadashi Hirashima, the company formally entered the field of Official Development Assistance (ODA) projects.
Drawing on over 60 years of experience in international shipping and logistics, as well as an extensive network of global industry relationships, Hirashima established the company’s foundation for supporting development assistance initiatives in countries in need.
Expansion of ODA and International Trade Operations
Through ODA projects, the company has supplied a wide range of equipment, including disaster response equipment, vehicles, construction machinery, vessels, and medical devices, to countries around the world, contributing to the social and economic development of beneficiary countries and regions. Alongside these activities, the company has steadily expanded its international trade operations in collaboration with domestic and international partners.
May 2025 —New Leadership
In May 2025, Kenji Iwahashi assumed the position of President. Under this new leadership, the company continues to build on its expertise in international trade and ODA projects while pursuing further growth and supporting sustainable development worldwide.
